At RS Foundation, we strongly believe that small acts of kindness, when multiplied, can lead to extraordinary results. our founder

Together, we are creating a better Future.

Om Prakash Gurjar is an Indian children’s rights activist and recipient of the 2006 International Children’s Peace Prize.

RS Foundation was founded by a visionary leader whose passion for social service and community empowerment has been the driving force behind every initiative. Guided by a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to making a difference, our founder has dedicated their life to creating opportunities for those who need it the most.

With a strong belief in the power of education, awareness, and collective action, our founder envisioned RS Foundation as a platform where volunteers, donors, and communities could come together to address pressing social challenges. Their leadership is rooted in integrity, compassion, and inclusivity, ensuring that every project undertaken by the foundation creates a lasting and meaningful impact.

Through tireless effort and unwavering dedication, our founder continues to inspire countless individuals to join the cause, proving that even small actions, when combined, can transform lives and build a brighter, more equitable future for all.

RSFoundation Trust

At RS Foundation Trust, we believe that education is the key to development in society. In a country like India, with over 1.3 billion people, access to quality education becomes even more critical. Every child has the Right to Primary Education, ensuring free education up to the primary level.

However, despite legal safeguards and progress, many children still face challenges in completing their education. Child labor has been banned, and efforts have been made to improve literacy rates, but dropout rates remain high. Nationally, 29% of children drop out before completing five years of primary school, and 43% before finishing upper primary school, with only 42% completing high school. These statistics place India among the nations with the highest number of out-of-school children, leaving 1.4 million children aged 6 to 11 without access to basic education.

A total of 152 million children – 64 million girls and 88 million boys – are estimated to be in child labour globally, accounting for almost one in ten of all children worldwide.

According to data from Census 2011, the number of child labourers in India is 10.1 million of which 5.6 million are boys and 4.5 million are girls.

Despite rates of child labour declining over the last few years, children are still being used in some severe forms of child labour such as bonded labour, child soldiers and trafficking.
